About roadworks.gg

The official States website is reliable, but it does not always present closures in a way that is quick to scan or route plan against. roadworks.gg makes it easy to draw a route to your destination and see how closures affect the journey.

How it works

The States of Guernsey publish roadworks and traffic management data via their public systems. roadworks.gg securely fetches that data, normalises it, and stores it in its own database.

roadworks.gg reads from this database rather than querying the States systems directly.

You draw a route, save it, and then you'll get a unique ID that you can use to reopen the same route later.

No account or user information beyond your route should you save it is stored.

Data updates

• Data is regularly fetched from the States of Guernsey.
• New closures, extensions, and completed works are reflected automatically.
• The map updates as soon as the database is refreshed.
